• Select the desired North Reference for the compass

Setting Compass Magnetic Declination Correction

• Only available when North Reference is set to 'User'
• Find the Magnetic Declination for your location
• Enter the desired Magnetic Declination

• Select the desired bearing pointer style
  • Bearing (Large)
  • Bearing (Small)
  • Course (CDI)
  
  

Compass

• Set the compass mode
  • Auto (switches from electronic compass to GPS compass when traveling at higher rates of speed)
  • Off (disables 3-axis compass)
  
  

Calibrate Compass

• Always calibrate the compass outdoors, away from objects that influence magnetic fields (cars, buildings, power lines)
  • After moving long distances
  • After experiencing significant temperature changes
  • After replacing the batteries
• Each step of the calibration process must be performed exactly as displayed on the GPSr screen
• Slowly Rotate, Roll, and Flip the unit as directed
