CDI
- The Course Deviation Indicator displays your relationship to a course line leading to the destination from the original starting point.
- CDI are most useful when navigating by air, water, or where no major obstacles obstruct your path.
- The CDI Drift Scale can be adjusted
to a full scale value of
0.25, 1.25, or 5.00.
- Each point in the drift scale represents 20%
of the selected
full scale value:
- When set to 0.25, each point represents 0.05 of the selected measurement value.
- When set to 1.25, each point represents 0.25 of the selected measurement value.
- When set to 5.00, each point represents 1.00 of the selected measurement value.
- Each point in the drift scale represents 20%
