Solar Auto Wake

• The eTrex Solar battery is charged by the solar cell, even when powered off.
• Solar charging is activated when the solar cell is exposed to sufficient sunlight.
• Solar charging is deactivated after 30 seconds of insufficient solar intensity.
• One hour of charging at 50% solar intensity will add about two hours of device operation.

	Cycle backlight on/off (or) press-and-hold to power device on

Solar Charging Status
Settings > System > Solar Auto Wake must be enabled to display battery charging information while powered off.
	Solar Intensity: The amount of sunlight, or lux conditions, currently being received.
	Graph: Displays solar intensity value history for previous 6 hour period.
	Battery: Current battery charge level and estimated remaining run time.
	Gain Today: Additional battery run time harvested during the current calendar day.
