Mark Waypoint

Save your current location for future reference.
New waypoints are automatically named by date or in ascending numerical sequence as configured.
Waypoint details (name, symbol, coordinates, etc.) can be edited as desired before saving.
Configure waypoint naming options in Settings > System > Waypoints.
View and configure device settings remotely via Explore app.

	Move to previous selection (or) press-and-hold to scroll selections
	Move to next selection (or) press-and-hold to scroll selections
	Return to previous menu (or) press-and-hold to view Glances
	Confirm current selection (or) press-and-hold to Mark Waypoint
	Cycle backlight on/off (or) press-and-hold to open Power Menu


Mark Waypoint
Press-and-Hold the 'OK' button to Mark a Waypoint from any page at any time.

Select 'Mark Waypoint'			Save Waypoint		Select 'Edit'		When Edit is Complete
			Edit Waypoint




Edit Name
Modify the waypoint name as desired. The eTrex SE supports a maximum of 15 characters for each waypoint name.

Select 'Name'						Select Desired Letter	Complete Desired Name
	Clear Existing Text					Confirm Selection


Confirm Entry	Name is Updated				When Finished





Edit Icon
Modify the waypoint icon as desired. The eTrex SE provides a limited selection of waypoint symbols to choose from.

Select 'Icon'	Select Category				Select Desired Icon		Icon is Updated





Edit Elevation
Modify the waypoint elevation as desired.

Select 'Elevation'				Edit Value	When Completed		Elevation is Updated
				Confirm Value




Edit Coordinates
Modify the waypoint coordinates as desired. Tip: This is useful when creating a waypoint for another location.

Select 'Coordinates'		Edit Value			When Completed		Coordinates are Updated
		Confirm Value




Edit Depth
Modify the waypoint depth as desired.

Select 'Depth'			Edit Value		When Completed		Depth is Updated
			Confirm Value




Edit Note
Modify waypoint note as desired.

Select 'Note'			Select Desired Letter		Complete Note as Desired		Confirm Entry
			Confirm Selection


Note is Updated	When Finished

	Begin Navigation to Waypoint
	Edit Waypoint
	View Waypoint on Map
	Project new Waypoint from this location
	Refine Waypoint location
	Reposition Waypoint to current location
	Delete Waypoint
