inReach Messenger Firmware 4.04

Garmin have published inReach Messenger Firmware Update 4.04 as of 08AUG23:

Changes made from version 4.01 to 4.04:

• Added support for declaring SOS from charge mode.
• Fixed issue with weather widget after deleting forecast from the Garmin Messenger app.
• Fixed potential issue where units may freeze or reboot.
• Fixed date not showing on home screen.
• Fixed erroneous weather request failures in the Garmin Messenger app.

This update is being released in stages via Garmin Express, and should be available to everyone soon.
