Unable to select GPS only + Multi-Band [Bug 70]

If we don't put the multi bands, we are exactly like the 66s it seems to me, but it is certainly not the same GNSS chip.

But the 66s does multi-GNSS, doesn't it? And the 66sr turns off mult-GNSS if you turn off multi-band. At least mine seems to.

So a 66sr with multi-band turned off is worse than a 66s, because the 66s will also pick up other GNSS systems, and the 66sr only the US GPS.

The 66sr allows Multi-GNSS to be enabled independently of Multi-Band.

Which country are you in to receive the QZSS ?

With my 66sr disabling multi-band I'm like the 66s with all three GNSS systems. I do not receive the QZSS in France.

Sorry, I was wrong. My 66sr (firmware v5.50) can in fact do multi-GNSS with multi-band on or off, as well as GPS-only with multi-band off.

What it can't do is GPS- only with multi-band on. It just refuses. If multi-band is on and I change Satellite System from Multi-GNSS to GPS-Only, then Multi-band gets switched off.

This corresponds to the 2nd screen shot on "Pages > Satellite > Satellite Page Display" (GPS Only, Track Up, Multicolor, Multi-Band On). I cannot get mine into that mode. Can someone confirm that their 66sr can do that, and if so what firmware version?

On my 66sr I can have GPS Only, normal GNSS and multi-band GNSS. Version 5.50. and 2.00.06

I downgraded my GPSMAP 66sr to firmware v5.20 and this limitation also exists in that version. So it is not a new problem in v5.50.

Except that now with v5.20 I have no problem finding satellites with multi-band/mult-GNSS, so I can't see any reason to even try GPS-only with multi-band.
