GPSMAP 276Cx Firmware 5.70

Garmin have published Firmware Update 5.70 for the GPSMAP 276Cx.

Released: August 04, 2021.

Changes made from version 5.50 to 5.70:

• Added missing undersoce character to keyboard.

• Added indicator in the track list to show which ones are shown on map.

• Fixed potential issue with prompted routing settings

• Fixed issue where you could not rename tracks.

Use Garmin Express or WebUpdater for automated firmware installation.

Found already 2 bugs in Firmware 5.70.

1) The data fields on the altimeter page cannot be anymore configured. The menu for this is just missing. I suspect, this got broken, when they fixed a different bug with the Altimeter in 5.70.

2) If you have more than 8 tracks (bigger than list, so you need to scroll), and all tracks have assigned different colors, you will notice, that upon scrolling, the colors on the left side start to detach from the scroll list and scroll outside the screen. Also no colors are being shown for further tracks in this case. Clearly a bug, but I suspect, this one was longer present.
