Disable backlight when battery at 100% charged

Unread post by ConiKost »

If I do charge my Montana, the backlight stays off until it reaches 100%. While this is fine when charging, I would like to have also the ability to disable backlight, when it's fully charged. Is there any way to do that?

Just open the status page and adjust the display brightness. You can also set the time out to 15 seconds if you might want it on briefly.

The device is in low power mode, so you only see in the middle of the screen, how much already has been charged? So I don't think, that the status page will work in this mode?

Just tested my 750i, and the backlight is off at 100% charge level. I do have the backlight timeout configured for 30 seconds in the Setup > Display menu.

Hm, yes. This setting seems to be releated, as I have it set to 'Always On', since I want to have backlight enabled during normal operation. But this is strange, that this setting still has effect on low power mode.
