What does a flashing antenna symbol means?

What does a flashing antenna symbol means?

For testing, I have connected the external GPS/Iridium cable to my Montana 750i. I can see, that the receiption has much improved. But I noticed, that with that cable, a flashing satellite symbol is being shown. It flashes each second. Anyone an idea, what's the meaning of that? This is a bug.

What you are seeing are two different symbols or icons being drawn over each other. Please post new images once Garmin releases a firmware with this corrected.

Thank you. So I guess, you have reported that to Garmin and it should be fixed in some in future upcoming firmware version, right?

Does it flash or do anything other than appear when an external antenna is connected?

No. I haven't see any flashing. The symbol just started to show, once I connected the external antenna.
