Map Sets: Deleted maps cannot be removed

If you have created a custom map set with an choosed map X, which was deleted later on, you will be always given the info, when editing that created custom map set: 'Unable to find all maps in the map set on the device."

The problem is here, what you can't delete the old not existing map anymore as a entry from the custom map set. The only possibility is to delete the whole map set and re-create a new one.

IMHO, the missing maps should be shown as a disabled selection, which can be removed from the custom map set, instead having first to delete the whole map set and re-create.
