Bricked GPSMAP 65s

I think I might have bricked my GPSMAP 65s yesterday. It seems that the filesystem got corrupted after duplicating a file with the Files APP on my my iPad Pro (iPad Pro 12.9 connected with USB-C to USB-mini cable to GPSMAP GPSMAP 65s).
It passes the “loading waypoints, traicks, points etc..” step during the bootsequence but it hangs on step “loading maps…”

I tried:
- Having patience and waiting quite a long time to see if it passes this step
- Pressing the Page+Enter buttons during boot, to no avail
- Pressing the DPAD-Up or DPAD-Up during boot, does not go in mass storage mode and the GPSMAP does not show up in the finder as usually
- Different USB-mini cables

Anyone suggestions before sending it in to Garmin?

Hello,
Before using a Garmin GPS, you must make its backup with Javawa Device manager, this way if you destroy a file you can easily replace it or restore everything

Just to close this topic:

I had it sent to Garmin for repair. They acknoledged it was completely bricked and replaced it with a new one.
I learned my lesson. I restrict accessing my 65s with my iPad to only reading files (e.g. geocache_sitis.txt) and not writing files.
