Hi, does anyone have issue with the CNE(urope) on H1 device?
I have installed CNE on my device and have strange behaviour - whenever I try to turn CNE on the device resets, except if it already got satellite fix - then it works fine.
Swithching into the satellite demo mode gives the same results as no fix - device restarts.

Re: H1 and CityNavigator maps (EU)
The first thing I would do to try and troubleshoot this would be to disable all of the other detail maps on the unit except for CN EU. If you have them all on the H1 in the Garmin folder, to really disable them you need to either fully delete all maps (except for the basemap & CN EU maps) from the unit or move them to another folder on the H1 to prevent the unit from seeing & using them. I personally would NOT delete any maps from your unit but would instead move them to another folder you would create inside the Garmin folder on the unit itself.
I personally created a folder called "disabled maps" in the Garmin folder that I move maps into to disable them for various testing purposes. Moving them to that folder prevents the Garmin unit from seeing & using them. Renaming the maps does NOT prevent the unit from seeing the maps as maybe you would expect. Moving them to the created folder is also pretty much instantaneous and doesn't involve the very slow USB transfer speed if you were to move them to an external drive for example. Moving them within the unit keeps them on the unit so as mentioned, the transfer is very fast as they are just changeing location from one area to another.
But before doing ANY of this, back up all the maps (*.img) on the device along with their corresponding unlock and Garmin authentication files (*.unl & *.gma). This WILL be slow and take some time but will save your butt in the event that you delete something you didn't mean to.
You should also make a full backup of the entire unit as well. Just drag the entire Garmin folder to a backup folder elsewhere on your PC (copy, do NOT move as moving will delete the folder from the device). Again, this could save your skin when/if something erroneous should happen.
Leave only the basemap (gmapbmap.img) on the unit and use only the CN EU map and test to see if the device still crashes under the same circumstances.
If this clears up the rebooting issue, one or more of the other maps (that you've disabled) may be interacting in some odd way with the CN EU map. You could try adding the other maps back in (including their *.unl & *.gma files) one at a time to see which one is possibly causing the issue.
Bottom line; if there's still an issue, you should likely contact Garmin Support directly as they can help much more from their end. As well, if this is indeed a new bug, contacting them via support will log the bug with them so it can hopefully be corrected in the future. Also contacting them directly via the email support link below will nearly always result in them bending over backwards to try to help.
