Third Party Maps Always Enabled [Bug 32, 65]
I just purchased the GPSMAP H1i. And every time I turn it on, all the .img (third-party) maps are activated at the same time. I have to disable the maps I don't need each time. Do you have this problem? I have the latest version 9.06.

Please see also related Bug 32, which had been resolved with v808, but has now resurfaced. The re-enabled maps still show as disabled in the map layer menu.

For me, on firmware 9.06, this is the same but it's not all 3rd party maps that are enabled. I have an SD card with multiple 3rd party maps (openfietsmap, freizeitkarte, speichenkarte). If I disable all 3rd party maps via the map layers menu and power cycle my H1, the last map in alphabetical order is enabled. It seems to be based on the map name as displayed in the map layers menu.
Current: GPSMAP H1, inReach Mini 2 - Previous: GPSMAP 67, inReach Messenger, GPSMAP 66sr, Oregon 700, Dakota 20, Edge 1040, Edge 1030 Plus, Edge 1030, Edge 520 Plus, Edge 520

I remember this being an issue at some point with my Touch 2. So it was corrected and now is broken again? Sheesh.
I have an old Garmin Topo US 24k West mapset (map v2, distributed on optical media and installed in BaseCamp) and it always displayed on top of whatever mapset I chose on the unit for that particular activity after a power cycle. Very annoying after setting up your activities with their associated mapsets. As noted, this is not a 3rd party mapset but an official Garmin mapset, albeit somewhat old.
