Where to reset the Odometer?

Activities data can be reseted (Trip Odometer)

But I can't find how to reset the Odometer?
The data field is available (in addition to the Trip Odometer) - but not the related function to reset.

The odometer is cleared by resetting the device.

Then this behavior is different to other GPSMAP devices.

It does not make sense to me:
I want to have an odometer that I can use during for example during a week-trip using different activities.

In my opinion, the Odometer is reset by resetting not only in tourist devices, but also in road devices.

You're right - I'm wrong.
I mixed some things on the different GPS.
Even the current value of the Odometer on my 66st makes no sense to me.

This thread can be closed - I do not want confuse others.

But I found a use case for Odometer-Value:
When i want to sell my device I can addvertise it with:
'GPS model xyz with only 2967 km''

To clarify:

Garmin Handheld navigators allow the user to reset the Trip Odometer, but not the Device Odometer, which can only be reset by fully restoring the device to factory defaults.
