H1: What does the small x2 means?

Post by bonstetten »

Sometimes, not allways, a small x2 symbol appears on the top left corner of the display.
What does this mean?

It means the device is using multi-band GNSS. When the satellite setting is set to Auto Select the GPSMAP will determine the optimal GNSS settings based on current conditions, so due to this it may sometimes switch from single-band to multi-band GNSS.
