Today I recevied from Garmin the information regarding the (new) MONTANA 710/760 series, but I could not yet find what are the improvements compared with the 70x-models.
Does anybody knows more?

Looks like increased internal storage (32GB), better battery life (not sure if this is due to firmware changes or larger capacity battery) and USB-C. Other than that no changes it appears.
Current: GPSMAP H1 (in testing), GPSMAP 67, inReach Mini 2 - Previous: inReach Messenger, GPSMAP 66sr, Oregon 700, Dakota 20, Edge 1040, Edge 1030 Plus, Edge 1030, Edge 520 Plus, Edge 520

Re: New Montana 710/760 series
And to add, it seems to me that is just a release to conform to the EU legislation requiring USB-C on certain devices, which includes personal navigation devices.
So one could argue that a successor to the Montana 7xx series is not coming anytime soon…
Edit: based on a YouTube video by GPSTraining.co.uk it seems the devices also use MTP instead of USB Mass Storage Mode. I wouldn’t be surprised if this will also come to 700/700i/750i because Garmin seems to be making the switch on other existing devices as well (like the Edge x40 series cycling computer).

Re: New Montana 710/760 series
Looking through the specs, I don't see much changes.
1) 32GB storage instead of 16GB storage, so finally CN Europe and TopoActive can be installed on internal memory.
2) USB-C instead of Micro-USB, which is a must in EU now.
3) Higher capacity battery available (Which can be used in 700/700i/750i too)
Rest of accessories seems to be the same? I guess, software will be also nearly the same.
