Error Loading City Nav Map

Getting message "Cannot authenticate maps. Contact the map seller for help" on loading City Nav.
I'm loading with the .img file and the .gma code.
I've loaded all other map files with no problem it just City Nav, that is giving me problems.
Any help will help

What is the source for the GMA file?

In the past Garmin used unlock codes of 25 characters, that can be put in a file with the extension .unl or in the .img file itself. MapSource and MapInstall will do that automatically.
A GMA file is not a unlock code, it is a (much longer) certificate. The certificate (and the unlock code) is only valid for a certain map and one, unique device. This means that you can't use it on another device.
Current City Navigator maps use certificates, not unlock codes.

The .gma file comes from the MapInstall after I send to the microSD card. Same happens if I load direct to the GPSmap 67i or a .dmg drive.

Maybe I should have mentioned that this is my CityNav 2011 copy

I was hoping to still make use of it in my area.

Is that still possible?

It's not possible. This map is unlocked for another device you had in 2011, not for your GPSMAP 67.
