Based on change log and the fact that the GPS software version has not changed I highly doubt this is an effect of the update. Also there are many outside factors influencing the time it takes to get 6 feet accuracy so I do not think you can draw any meaningful conclusions without very extensive and controlled testing.
I've noticed an improvement in signal reception over the last few days. Where there was a problem now there is good reception. Version still 5.30.

This suggests any signal or reception issues you were previously encountering with that same firmware version loaded were due to external influences, and were not related to device performance.

Only I have two devices 66sr and 67 ;) . Where the 67 had problems, the 66sr did not. It seems that perhaps the Chinese have improved something in their constellation. The 66sr didn't improve the quality and the 67 did.

Using only GPS in 67 is as bad as before.

How comes it's bad?

Just done a switch on in my house with the 67 in GPS mode only and it went down to 10 feet no issues. Which I believe 10 feet accuracy is the lowest it will go in none Multi Band mode.

You have to go back to previous posts. It has been suggested that the new 5.90 improved accuracy. I noticed it before, even in version 5.30. Under certain conditions, the 67 did not perform at all, unlike the 66sr. Now it's definitely better and I haven't had these problems for a few days, I suggested that something was improved in the constellations. However, the GPS itself is still bad. So the improvement is in the other satellites, I think it might be Beidou as 66sr didn't improve its accuracy.

I've never seen any issues with the GPS on my 67 or any of the other constellations tbh. The only one that flashes for a while I've noticed is Beidou but after a while they stop flashing once the device has been on for a few mins and it's fully locked on to them. GPS, Galileo and Glonass no issues at all with mine.

The debug menu or whatever it's called is no longer available from Trip Computer on my Garmin GPSMAP 67i.
