I meant to say that for the GPSMAP 67 I need a different screen. The 66sr has a much better zoom.

I downloaded one track as kml file and opened it in google earth. Can someone explain what the yellow points are? I guess, that are the marks which the Unit sets while recording a track. But why is the interpolation so bad? The interpolation is as I see on the device itself.

Edit: Unfortunately it was just in this hike, so it does not explain the poor accuracy of 67.

Looks like whatever software you used to convert the GPX or FIT file (you did not specify which) to KML format made some mistakes....

Afaik only the sapphire model of the Fenix 7 supports multi-band, the other models only support multi-GNSS. So in that way the use of the AG3335MN makes sense.

Does anyone know what chipset the 66sr uses? Might be interesting to know in light of the discussions on the accuracy in another topic.

I noticed that there are much more L5 bars at the GPS satellite system with the 67. But the signal bars are weaker at the Galileo satellite system. The Galileo system was, as far I experienced with the 66sr, responsible for the very good accuracy, this would explain why the 67 performs weaker.

So I am 100% sure since yesterday, that the 67 performs weaker than the 66sr. I have almost always over 2.3m gnss accuracy and the start accuracy is at 10m, , when I turn the device on. This behavior I experienced almost never with the 66sr.

As far as I see nobody claims here, that their 67 would perform always at 1.8m, they just saw it for a brief moment.

On the other hand there are enough articles in the internet which support my claim, that the 66sr almost always has a stable gnss accuracy of 1.8m right on the beginning.

Also who has a 67i, I think it should also have a accuracy at least of 1.8m. I don't think, that the missing GLONASS system has any impact. On youtube I saw, that the 67i also just performs at around 2.6m accuracy.

Please everybody, who has a 67 and 67i, please report it to garmin. When I reported it, they just said, that this issue is not known to them. They need the feedback, also from those who will send their 67 back, or they won't take it seriously.

I think it is better if everybody here report it via chat to the US Garmin. If you send a mail to garmin, the mail will be redirected to the local garmin of your country. You can only reach the US Garmin via chat at the US Garmin website.

Can you make screenshots of every satellites system during this stable phase of 1.5m-1.8m? I would like to compare it with my device.
