• Open this page by selecting Activation in the Home Page Menu
• Before a new inReach device can be used, it must first be activated
• The activation process can take up to 20 minutes to complete
• During activation the device must send and receive several messages via Iridium satellites
• The activation warning and menu option will no longer be displayed once activation is completed

Activate the inReach Messenger Plus from the Garmin Explore homepage
'Not Activated'	Select 'Activation'	Open explore.garmin.com	Select 'Skip Pairing'
Enter IMEI when requested	Enter Auth. Code when requested	Place device under clear sky	Press 'OK' when ready
Sending Request...	Waiting for Response...	Activation Complete	Return to Home Page
