Satellite

The Satellite page displays satellite identification and signal strength information.

The upper data field displays GPS Status and estimated location accuracy.

The lower data field shows current location coordinates.

 

Map

The Map page displays your present position and direction of movement using a triangular 'Position Icon' that is centered on the map.

The map provides a picture of where you are, where you are going (path to destination), where you have been (track log), waypoint names and symbols and other map information.

Press and hold the Up (C) or Down (D) buttons to change the map scale as desired.

To change the data fields, use the Joystick Button (F) to select the Options Menu, then select the desired data field and choose from available Map page data:

  1. Bearing - the Compass direction from you current location to a destination.
  2. Course - the Compass direction from your starting location to a destination.
  3. Off Course - the Distance left or right you are from the original course (path of travel).
  4. To Course - the Compass direction you must travel to get back to original course.
  5. Current Destination - the Next waypoint on your route.
  6. Current Distance - the Remaining distance to your next waypoint.
  7. Current ETA - the Estimate time of day you will arrive at your next waypoint.
  8. Current ETE - the Estimated time needed to arrive at the next waypoint on your route.
  9. Elevation - the Height above or below sea level.
  10. Final Destination - the Last waypoint on your route.
  11. Final Distance - the Remaining distance to your final destination.
  12. Final ETA -  the Estimated time of day you will arrive at your final destination.
  13. Final ETE - the Estimated time needed to arrive at your final destination.
  14. Heading - your Moving direction.
  15. Pointer - Indicates direction to next destination.
  16. Speed - How fast you are moving.
  17. Sunrise - the Time of sunrise at your current location.
  18. Sunset - the Time of sunset at your current location.
  19. Time of Day - the Time for the selected time zone.
  20. Trip Odometer - Total distance traveled since last reset.
  21. Turn - the Angle difference (in degrees) between the bearing to your destination and your current line of travel. "L" means turn left, "R" means turn right.
  22. Velocity Made Good - the Speed at which you are closing on a destination along a desired course.
  23. Vertical Speed - Your rate of altitude gain/loss over time.

 

Navigation

The Navigation page helps guide you to a destination.

When moving without a destination selected, the upper data field displays your moving direction and speed.

When moving with a destination selected (navigating), the name of the destination waypoint, as well as distance and time to destination are displayed in the upper data field. Simply follow the Compass arrow to find your destination.

To change the lower data fields, use the Joystick Button (F) to select the Options Menu, then select the desired data field and choose from available Navigation page data:

Altimeter

The Altimeter page can display a graph of elevation change over distance or time, or pressure over time.

The upper data field displays current elevation and rate of ascent/descent.

To change the lower data fields, use the Joystick Button (F) to select the Options Menu, then select the desired data field and choose from available Altimeter page data:

  1. Average Ascent - Average rate of ascent since last reset.
  2. Average Descent - Average rate of descent since last reset.
  3. Maximum Ascent - Maximum ascent rate since last reset.
  4. Maximum Descent - Maximum descent rate since last reset.
  5. Maximum Elevation - Highest elevation reached since last reset.
  6. Minimum Elevation - Lowest elevation reached since last reset.
  7. Ambient Pressure - the Uncalibrated current pressure.
  8. Normalized Pressure - the Calibrated current pressure.
  9. Total Ascent - Total distance ascended since last reset.
  10. Total Descent - Total distance descended since last reset.
  11. Vertical Speed - Your rate of altitude gain/loss over time.

 

Trip Computer

The Trip Computer page displays up to eight different types of navigation data.

Each data field is user configurable.

To change data fields, use the Joystick Button (F) to select the Options Menu, then select the desired data field and choose from available Trip Computer page data:

  1. Current Destination - the Next waypoint on your route.
  2. Current Distance - the Remaining distance to your next waypoint.
  3. Current ETA - the Estimate time of day you will arrive at your next waypoint.
  4. Current ETE - the Estimated time needed to arrive at the next waypoint on your route.
  5. Elevation - the Height above or below sea level.
  6. Final Destination - the Last waypoint on your route.
  7. Final Distance - the Remaining distance to your final destination.
  8. Final ETA -  the Estimated time of day you will arrive at your final destination.
  9. Final ETE - the Estimated time needed to arrive at your final destination.
  10. Heading - your Moving direction.
  11. Pointer - Indicates direction to next destination.
  12. Speed - How fast you are moving.
  13. Maximum Speed - the Maximum speed recorded since last reset.
  14. Moving Average Speed - Average speed while the unit is moving.
  15. Overall Average Speed - Average speed for unit both moving and stopped since last reset.
  16. Odometer - Running tally of distance travelled.
  17. Trip Odometer - Total distance traveled since last reset.
  18. Trip Time - Moving - Total time unit has been moving since last reset.
  19. Trip Time - Stopped - Total time unit has been stopped since last reset.
  20. Trip Time - Total - Total time unit has been in operation since last reset.
  21. Time of Day - the Time for the selected time zone.

 

Main Menu

The Main Menu page provides access to advanced features and settings.

Move the Joystick Button (F) to highlight the desired menu selection.
