Mass Storage Mode

Mass Storage Mode allows your Garmin eTrex to behave like an external hard drive, enabling computer access to files stored in internal memory and installed µSD card.

In most scenarios, when connected to a computer via USB cable, the Garmin eTrex will automatically detect the connection and enter mass storage mode.

When [Setup > System > USB Mode > Mass Storage] and the Garmin eTrex is connected to a host computer via USB cable, the Garmin eTrex will prompt as follows:
