Wireless

ANT+

Further enhancing device functionality, ANT+ is the wireless technology that enables all compatible Garmin devices to communicate with each other and multiple external accessories, allowing users to share information in the field while additional information is displayed and recorded for future review. You can also use your VIRB Ultra 30 action camera to control additional VIRB devices.

Bluetooth

The VIRB Ultra 30 uses Bluetooth technology to allow connections to a variety of compatible external sensors, remote microphones, and ELM327 OBD-II data collection devices.

Wi-Fi

The VIRB Ultra 30 is also equipped with Wi-Fi to enable wireless communication with your smartphone or computer, allowing you to see image previews, control video playback, adjust camera settings, start and stop video recordings, or remotely snap still photos, all while the camera is filming.

Tempe

ANT+ wireless temperature sensor designed to provide the current, minimum and maximum temperatures over a 24 hour period.

Speed and Cadence Sensors

Monitor your speed and pedaling cadence as you ride with these self-calibrating, wireless speed/cadence sensors. They measure and report your speed and pedaling strokes per minute, providing feedback for optimal performance.

Heart Rate Monitor

Train more effectively with a Garmin heart rate monitor. When worn around your chest during any activity, it wirelessly transmits your heart rate to your compatible device for instant feedback on how hard you’re working.

VIRB Remote

Garmin's VIRB action cameras can be controlled remotely from distances up to 10 meters. You can adjust VIRB settings, start and stop video recording, and take still photos using any compatible Garmin device or the Garmin VIRB App on your iOS and Android devices.
