• If your Garmin Tread navigator is exhibiting a behavior you do not see listed here, please post a new thread about your experience and send a detailed error report to Garmin, as outlined below.
• If you do see your issue listed here, please send your detailed error report to Garmin! They need to hear from all users.
• Please handle all feature requests similarly: Post a new thread if not already listed, and send a copy to Garmin.
• If you see your request is already listed, copy and paste it in an email to Garmin! The more frequently they see the same request, the more likely they are to include it in a future update.

Error Reporting

• Please report all software bugs, glitches, crash reports, and feature requests in the Garmin Tread discussion forum.
• Try to include as much detail as possible when describing each issue you are experiencing, including pages displayed, device settings, keystrokes, etc.
• Send a copy of your post to product.support@Garmin.com and include:
  1. A zipped copy of the:
     • [Tread]\Internal Storage\debug\ directory.
     • [Tread]\Internal Storage\Diag\ directory.
     • [Tread]\Internal Storage\inr\ directory.
     • [Tread]\Internal Storage\Garmin\GarminDevice.xml file.

Status

• RED: Issue/Feature Request has been reported to Garmin, and is pending response.
• ORANGE: Garmin has acknowledged a Reported Issue/Feature Request and may be working on a solution.
• GREEN: Issue has been resolved and no longer exists. Requested Feature has been implemented.

Categories

• Bugs (07/00/00): Software issues that result in a system failure or adversely affect intended functionality.
• Crash Reports (00/00/00): Bugs resulting in unintentional hanging, freezing, resetting or powering down.
• Hardware Failures (02/00/00): Physical issues and/or failures that limit or inhibit intended function.
• Missing Features (02/00/01): Feature is available on a similar Garmin product.
• Requested Features (04/00/00): Request for functionality not present with current firmware version.

Bugs

1.	The Map page does not update the display while stationary based on magnetic compass heading.
2.	The Satellite page does not update the display while stationiary based on magnetic compass heading.
3.	Third party maps successfully used with similar Garmin devices may fail to display properly on the Tread.
4.	Guided routing may prompt the user to make unnecessary U-Turns while 'U-Turns' are disabled in routing preferences.
5.	The 'Settings > Driver Assistance > Break Planning > Break Reminder' configuration is lost over a power cycle. [Gr]
6.	The Vehicle Profile is not properly Synced with the Garmin Tread App.
7.	After selecting any preset in the Phone App, disclaimer text and contacts are displayed superimposed. [Gr]

Crash Reports

1.

Hardware Failures

1.	Audio alerts and spoken voice messages may be garbled, clipped, or otherwise incoherent due to an audio processor failure.
2.	Group Ride Radio may stop responding due to an internal fault, resulting in loss of all radio features and functionality. [Gr]

Missing Features

1.	Tread devices are currently unable to share waypoints, tracks, routes (etc.) wirelessly with other Garmin Tread and Outdoor devices.
2.	Unlike the original Tread, the Overland and SxS devices do not currently offer support for external cameras.
3.	Unlike all other inReach equipped devices, the Tread is unable to retrieve/display inReach weather reports. [Gr]

Requested Features

1.	Please add support for using multiple bluetooth headsets simultaneously (driver and co-pilot/navigator).
2.	Please include the ability to create an avoidance area waypoint with a user configured radius after selecting the desired location on the map page display.
3.	Please include an option to pause/restart guided navigation without losing current destination and routing configuration information.
4.	Please add capability for user to send coordinates for any waypoint location via inReach. [garmin]
