The Southwest Trails map project currently covers the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah. As most government GIS sources generally consist of poor data quality and completeness (so poor in fact that no GIS data has been applied), there is a significant need for not only additional data but also verification of virtually all map trails by users like you. The intent is, over time, to expand the coverage of Southwest Trails by including thorough GPS verified coverage of all trails located in the Southwest USA.
