- Power on the Overlander
- Select Settings >
About Device > Garmin Device Information
- The Unit ID, Hardware and Software
versions are displayed:
Garmin Express
Firmware, Maps, and additional device updates for your Garmin
Overlander can be managed with Garmin Express (see
Software).
- Connect your Garmin Overlander via USB cable
and enter file transfer mode
- Start the Garmin Express application and choose your device from the menu
- Select desired updates and follow the prompts to complete installation
Wireless Updates
With an active
Wi-Fi
connection, Select
Settings >
Updates to check for, download and install device, map and
other updates.
