Calibrate Compass

• Always calibrate the compass outdoors and away from objects that may influence magnetic fields (cars, buildings, power lines, etc) after:
  • Moving long distances
  • Experiencing significant temperature changes
  • Replacing the batteries
• Each step of the calibration process must be performed exactly as shown:

Select [Calibrate Compass]		Select [Start] to begin		Select [Retry] if any step is unsuccessful
Step 1 Spin GPSr as directed		Step 2 Flip GPSr as directed		Step 3 Twist GPSr as directed		Select [OK] after successful calibration
