Output Format

• Select a format for recording data
  • FIT (records activity with fitness information tailored for Garmin Connect)
  • FIT and GPX (records both an activity with fitness information for Garmin Connect and a traditional tracklog file)

 

Auto Save

• Specify an automatic archive method to organize your tracks
• Auto Save is disabled when recording while Expedition Mode is active
• Tracks are saved and cleared automatically:
  • When Full (auto saves current recording when near 20,000 track points, starts a new recording)
  • Daily (saves previous days recording when powered up on a new day, starts a new recording)
  • Weekly (saves previous weeks recording when powered up in a new week, starts a new recording)
  • Auto (auto saves current recording based on factors such as length of recording and number of track points, etc.)
  • Never (filters current recording when near 20,000 track points, saving redundant data to temporary FIT/GPX file)

 

Trip Recording

• Choose when Trip Computer recording is active
• Tip: Trip Computer data and Tracklog data will not agree while 'Always' is selected.
  • During Activity (Trip Computer accumulates new data only when track log recording is active)
  • Always (Trip Computer always accumulates new data regardless of track log recording status)

 

Recorded Data Reset

• Choose which recorded data is cleared
  • Activity and Trip (automatically clears both track and trip data after saving the current track recording)
  • Prompted (prompts user to select data to be cleared after saving the current track recording)
