GPSMAP

The new GPSMAP 64x/64sx/64csx series introduces three GPS handheld devices with TopoActive Maps and Galileo support. The GPSMAP 64x series has 8GB of onboard memory with a microSD card slot for additional data and maps. The GPSMAP 64x series also includes support for BirdsEye Satellite Imagery (subscription required) and paperless geocaching. All handhelds in the GPSMAP 64x series have a battery life of 16 hours in GPS mode with 2AA batteries. Explore the world with reliable navigation in hand.

The rugged, button-operated GPSMAP 64x handheld introduces new built-in TopoActive mapping, featuring routable roads and trails for cycling and hiking. View waterways and natural features, as well as buildings, international boundaries and more. TopoActive maps allow users to find points of interests, including shops, restaurants, universities and parks. Its high-sensitivity receiver with quad helix antenna supports multiple global navigation satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo).

The GPSMAP 64sx builds on the base functionality of the 64x and includes a built-in 3-axis compass with barometric altimeter. It also includes wireless connectivity via Bluetooth technology and ANT+ connectivity, so users to stay connected while out in the field by wirelessly receiving smart notifications like emails, texts and alerts from a compatible device.

In addition to the 3-axis compass with barometric altimeter and wireless connectivity features, the GPSMAP 64csx allows users to capture the highlights of their expedition with a built-in 8-megapixel autofocus camera. Each photo taken is automatically geotagged with its location, allowing someone to easily navigate back to that spot in the future. This device also has a useful flashlight/SOS beacon to aid in any adventure.

The GPSMAP 64x series is expected to be available in Q2 2019 with a suggested retail prices of $299.99, $349.99 and $449.99 respectively.

eTrex

The popular Garmin eTrex series gets upgraded with routable TopoActive mapping and expanded internal memory. These budget friendly button-operated handhelds offer a color display and the essential features needed for hiking, hunting, climbing, and exploring.

Explore with confidence with the eTrex 22x, a rugged GPS handheld with a 2.2” sunlight-readable color display. It comes preloaded with TopoActive mapping featuring routable roads and trails to explore when cycling and hiking. Add even more maps via the microSD card slot and 8GB of internal memory. With dual-satellite support (GPS and GLONASS), it tracks in more challenging environments than GPS alone. Get up to 25 hours of battery life in GPS mode with 2AA batteries. Save paper and load geocaches and details straight to their unit.

For additional navigation features, the new eTrex 32x includes a built-in 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter.

The eTrex 22x and eTrex 32x are available now with a suggested retail price of $199.99 and $299.99 respectively.
