Expedition Mode
Expedition Mode places the GPSMAP 67 into a low power state and can extend battery life up to 35 days.
Only GPS
(L1)
satellites are used while Expedition Mode is active (Multi-GNSS and Multi-Band are disabled).
The
Status LED
next to the power button will flash
green
once every 5 seconds to indicate Expedition Mode is active.
Tracklog recordings are updated at the tracking interval specified by the user while in Expedition Mode.
inReach Messages and Tracking Points may be delayed while Expedition Mode is active.

Auto Save
settings are disabled while recording in Expedition Mode.
Choose the desired Expedition Mode behavior:
Prompted
(You will be prompted to enter Expedition Mode when powering the GPSMAP 67 off)
Auto
(After 2 minutes of inactivity, the GPSMAP 67 will enter Expedition Mode automatically)
Never
(Expedition Mode is disabled)
