- Configure Garmin Explore data collection availability as desired.
- The GPSMAP 66 must be paired with the Garmin Explore app to use Collections Manager features.
- Only data collections enabled in the Garmin Explore app will be available on the device.
- Each collection shows the number of waypoints, routes, tracks and courses they contain (activities are only synced from device to phone).
- Disabling a collection does not remove any data, it only hides it, so you can sync multiple collections and choose the data you want to see.
- The primary (Active) collection assigned to the device is locked and can not be disabled.
- 'Not Synced' items will move to the (Active) collection after the next Explore app sync.
- Items that exist in multiple collections will still be displayed if any one of the collections is enabled.
- Collections exceeding 100 waypoints, 20 routes, 10 courses, 5 tracks, or tracks with more than 10,000 points may not sync with some devices.
- Changes made at the Explore website or on the device will be available in both locations only after an Explore app sync has been completed.
- Caution: Explore and/or device data may become corrupted should the GPSMAP 66 experience any abnormal shutdown event.
- Caution: Explore does not recognize geocaches, manages them as standard waypoints, and will frequently corrupt geocache databases.
- Tip: All collection data will be displayed when 'Sync Everything' is selected in the Garmin Explore Sync Settings on your mobile device.
- Tip: Configure Garmin Explore Sync Settings on your mobile device for 'Sync Selection' and avoid the 'Sync Everything' option.
- Tip: Avoid Garmin Explore at all costs. You will be happier for it. We promise.
