Just made a contribution to supporting GPSrChive. I did share my mailing address during the process but did not see a specific place to request the battery adapter so am requesting it here. Thanks and thanks for maintaining this great site!
I see now that I should have just put the request into the same box as the address.

Hello,
I would like to know what battery should I use. My question is if the unit will full charge battery with 2500mAh of capacity or should I use only battery up to 2100mAh of capacity.

Any quality NiMH battery will work.
I use 2500 mAh batteries in my Garmin devices.

Hi dear Admin,
I made my own adapter before. But an issue happened for my previous GPSMAP66 while it was charging the battery by USB and tracked my trip. I said previous because My device turned off for ever and never run anymore. I took it to guaranty and they gave me another one.
I never understood what happened exactly but I think I should never have charged it during the tracking or Tracked while it was charging.
