GPSMAP 66 Firmware Update 4.70 released 15SEP20:

Changes made from version 4.20 to 4.70:

• Fixed possible issue with GPX track name when making a favorite
• Fixed possible issues sending messages with inReach Remote
• Fixed possible issue where calendar would select the wrong day

Noted change (improvement):
Keyboard handling has changed in the Find -> Address menu.
+ and - can be used to move left or right in text (previously to change between text/numeric/symbol keypad).
MARK cycles between text/numeric/symbol keypad.
PAGE gives shift between uppercase and lowercase.

If i am not wrong. The accuracy of the GPS is now given with one decimal number. At least this is the case if set up unit to use metric units.

The keyboard page has been updated to reflect these changes.

I do not use 'Metric' very often, but it is neat to see GPS accuracy displayed in tenths of a meter!

Hello. What is the latest status with 4.70? Is it a stable update? There's no sign of it on Garmin Express or Web Updater at my location (Ontario, Canada). Still version 4.20. Regards.

We recommend waiting for the next update, which should be available in the near future.
