I've got an issue with the 64sx, and wonder if anyone else is having this problem. When I load my geocaching pocket queries, and power on the device, it takes 8-10 minutes to update the waypoints, etc section (the part with the green progress bar across the bottom). That's normal. But when I have to change batteries, or power cycle the device, it does that same update every time. With every other Garmin I've owned, that was not the case. Once the waypoints and everything was loaded, it simply powered up within a few seconds. Only when I loaded or updated pocket queries did it need to update. Has anyone else experienced this happening?

How many Waypoint do you have on your 64sx?

With me I never had to wait so long after I switched on the device.

My new 65s takes a little longer to startup than the 64sx.
(although roughly the same amount of data on track, waypoints, etc.)

I suspect that you have a lot of geocaches on the device. And therefore it takes a long time until they are all loaded.
