OK, I did it.

Note that there is actually a way to do it if you REALLY want to get rid of your Recent Finds, but it's drastic. That would be to reset the unit to it's factory default settings. I know, not the best solution but like I said, if you really want them gone, this will do it.

Unless you have a full backup of all .fit files on the unit and you feel like redoing many of the unit's settings, I wouldn't do it.

Settings > System > Reset > Reset All Settings

Unfortunately no change in the new firmware 8.08. There is no option to delete previous results.

If you have reported it as a suggestion to Garmin, it may already be in the pipeline but of course, only time will tell...and that's assuming that it's actually being implemented.

You may also want to contact Garmin support directly to make it known to them in a more direct approach.

Again, reporting it as an issue or suggestion is the best thing you can do.

Garmin Support answer:
To clear " Recent Finds" you should hold down on the name of the recent find -> select the 3 lines > click " remove ".
But unfortunately I do not have the above mentioned option.

As mentioned in another post, Garmin Support staff frequently know very little about the devices they are supposed to be providing assistance with, which results in them providing poor and misleading information.
