An altimeter Auto Calibration setting bug has been reported in Garmin's H1i Plus forum. The altimeter's Auto Calibration setting if set to ON does not survive a power cycle and will revert to OFF (if previously set to ON). I have reproduced it on my eTrex Touch 2 running firmware v6.04. I have reported it to Garmin via email.

We're sorry to hear that the "Auto Calibration" setting is toggled off when you power-cycle your eTrex Touch. I have created a ticket to have the issue investigated and will contact you when I have an update.
