Garmin Express just offered me a new firmware for the H1/H1i Plus, version 5.09. Unfortunately no release notes available (really can't understand why Garmin does this), so guess we'll need to wait a couple of days for those to become available.

Edit:
Host software version has been updated (to 5.09), as well Connect IQ (to 6.0.0). The rest stays the same: GPS Software version 6.04, Wireless Software Version 29.16, Display Software Version 16.06.

Several new apps added: Calendar, Alarm Clock, Man Overboard and Proximity Alarms.

Just installed the update...and it totally messed up (my?) the map manager.
Can someone check/confirm, that its not possible to select maps any longer?
in 4.09 you had switches to turn on/off the different maps.
The switches are gone and once you click on the map itself, the screen is a mess.
I have several "Freizeitkarte" and "opentopomaps" on SD installed.

What else did i test?
Seems to have more options on the action button
Screen timeout settings works now

Thanks for the heads-up JungleJim. Same update for the eTrex Touch 2, however mine did NOT show up on Garmin Express (I tried numerous times). It did however show up on the Garmin Explore app (running on an iPad mini 6) but it did not transfer over with that app. Running Garmin Connect on the iPad finally transferred it over (verified by connecting the Touch 2 to the PC and finding GUPDATE.GSP in the Garmin folder) where it was installed on the next power-cycle.

On my eTrex Touch 2, the map toggles that were previously under Map Manager are indeed gone...BUT, I believe you can now toggle them (correctly) under Map Layers. I did so successfully on my Touch 2.

sure. i was successful to capture the "messed up map". This was very tricky as it was on display for under a second or so.
btw: no maps under map layers visible...

Haven't tried to re-format the sd card, install the maps again or copy them to the internal storag yet. This will be done later today.

On my eTrex Touch 2, the toggles have been removed from Map Manager. I believe you can now toggle the mapsets on/off using the Map Layers section. I personally had no problem with this and I have two different map sets (aside from TopoActive) on my unit. Seems the map toggles in Map Manager were redundant.
