GPX files are not processed directly, but after being converted to the fit file on the device, so those who were concerned shouldn't worry. @JungleJim confirmed my suspicions.

I'm curious about how the route will be displayed in H1 after being converted to the fit file.

The route created in Base Camp is launched (if conditions are met) without recalculation, preserving the track layout planned in Base Camp.

Will the route thus created be recalculated according to the algorithm for the selected activity, or will it retain the layout from Base Camp?

More detailed information:

The GPX file is converted directly on the device; there's no need to convert the GPX file to a fit file first .fit.

The GPX file should be placed in the GARMIN\NewFiles directory and the device should be launched.
