Trouble installing Topo Active 2024.10.

I have a 3 yr old Montana 700. It has 2021.10 I believe and express will not install or can't 2024.10. Isn't topo active NA supposed to be installed free? if so doesn't it delete the older version? I got a message about no memory left. My disk check say's the 700 has 6.3 gb space left

I attached a pic of the 700's map segments.

Can't I delete manually the older versions? and the central america etc which I don't use? if so what would be the name for those.

Garmin Express can be a real mess when it comes to map installation.

You can remove unwanted maps from your device manually (suggest copying them to your HDD in case you want them again later).

Please see GPSrChive > How to... > Maps > Map Names > Garmin Vector Map ID for a list of known map names.

thanks that did it. I never had an issue for mapping so learned something new. will do this for my auto gps too.
