That is very unlikely to happen.
Garmin LCD displays require zero backlight when used under direct sunlight, and most work so well at reflecting ambient light that the backlight makes little to no difference other than running the battery down faster.
All AMOLED displays require constant power (similar to the LCD backlight) to illuminate each and every single pixel, and they are difficult to view when not indoors or in a shaded area.
AMOLED displays cannot compete with LCD displays in outdoor visibility, where these devices are primarily used.

They'll probably just release an enhanced version of the 67 like a 67s or something that has solar screen charging or picks up more satellites or something.
The 65s they've gave up with according to the engineer I've been talking to with Garmin, the 65s will receive no further firmware updates. Tbf the 65s works spot on no issues at all.

Anyway back to your comment, none of these issue I have noticed on Firmware 4.50 and most of which seem to be wireless sharing which lets be honest I have no intention of using and you know the 65s is old tech when it comes to wireless sharing and isn't going to be the best, so if you're into all that the 66/67 series is the one to go for and even they're still sh1te!
