This is a new feature indeed. Scrolling through the list of available maps is very slow now though, as well for enabling and disabling maps. I have an SD card with CityNavigator EU (purchased from Garmin) and 7 OSM-based maps. TopoActive maps are on the internal memory.

So the most basic feature, what even the good old mobile phones have, is still missing.

It has been three days since firmware update 7.60 was been released to some. I have been unable to install this update using Garmin Express. I realize that Garmin typically stages firmware updates over several days, but I am surprised that it is taking this long. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

If one can not wait to update it can be done manually:

Manual Updates

NOTE: Unlike previous models, the GPSMAP 67 does not allow older firmware versions to be installed.

Download and extract the desired *.GSP firmware update
Rename *.GSP to GUPDATE.GSP
Connect the GPSMAP 67 to your computer and enter MTP Mode
Copy GUPDATE.GSP to [GPSr]\Internal Storage\Garmin\GUPDATE.GSP
Disconnect and reboot the GPSMAP 67
When prompted to install the new firmware version, select 'Yes'
The GPSMAP 67 will restart automatically after the firmware update is complete

You can find the firmware under GPSMAP67 Firmware here:

Can someone provide the web link for manually downloading the GPSMAP 67 firmware 7.60 update. A prior post referred to such a web link but did not actually provide the link.

I followed asprin624's instructions for manually installing the 7.60 firmware update and was able to install this firmware update.
