Brand New Turn On Location
Where did your 67 map location show when you did the first cold start brand new out of the box? Mine was in the USA but my 65's I've had were all in Taiwan on first start up.

Mine was also in Taiwan, yours was probably tested in the USA. Because it may have gone down in Taiwan and Garmin made up for it. when they received the delivery and noticed the missing QC.

Do you notice much difference in accuracy and time to pick up 6 feet accuracy between the two?

Yes of course, there is a significant difference, but I think it is just visual. For any reason the 66sr shows 1.8m almost immediately and the 67 takes his time, but if you look on the map non of them is directly on your position.

Yes, I had the 65s for over a year which I believe is the same chipset as the 66sr and that used to get down to 6feet (1.8m) accuracy within seconds on turning on, much faster than the 67, which you'd think the 67 being newer tech and meant to be better in all areas would be faster not slower than an older model?? I mean each new smart phone that comes out is always faster than the older model. No not with Garmin...
yes often the gps units suffer with GPS nestling (arrow slightly off where you are actually standing) especially inside buildings or near tall structures or near any mobile phone or wifi signals etc.
