Waypoint note limitations - Explore vs Device

If I edit the note of a waypoint in Garmin Explore, I can add some text.

If I then sync that waypoint to the Garmin GPSMAP 67i, everything after around 64 characters is not synced.

My expectation would be that the Garmin Explore app would stop me when it reaches the limit of what the device can handle, but that is clearly not the case.

It would be very helpful if others can test this with additional devices and report their findings to help determine if the 64 character limit is universal.

I checked it with my watch (Gamin Instinct 2 Solar). The limit there seems to be 0 (or at least I can't find the note after syncing it back to the watch).

(My guess would be that devices like Garmin Montana has a bigger limit, so perhaps this is just a matter of my expectations not matching how the app is intended to be used.)
