Garmin have published Tread SxS/Overland/Baja Firmware version 9.40 (24JUL23) with the following changes:

• Added a configurable waypoint map tool to save waypoints while pre-running on the Tread Baja Edition.
• Improved the display of tracks during race setup on the Tread Baja Edition.
• Added the ability to display range rings on the map.
• Improved track recorder to increase track resolution near turns.
• Added support for Lowrance waypoint symbols during GPX import and export.
• Added the ability to send location coordinates via inReach messaging.
• Updated waypoint icon images.
• Added a map layer to display POIs from premium Topographic maps.
• Added a map layer to display USFS Adventure Points.
• Added support for drawing Adventure Roads & Trails above Topo Pro map content.
• Allowed Adventure Roads & Trails to draw alongside Snowmobile content.
• Reduced instances where trail content duplicated between maps is drawn twice.
• Added a Dog Tracker setting to control the length of dog tracks on the map.
• Fixed an issue where off-road map content in Australia was not being utilized.
• Various bug fixes and improvements.
