Noticed that Garmin Express shows a new version of the TopoActive Maps for Europe, version 2023.10. This is for my GPSMAP 67. Did not install it yet, so no first hand experiences.

I already have these maps installed on the 66sr.
Maps based on OSMap, expect frequent updates.
It's a very lively project that anyone can participate in.

I meant I did not install the update yet, I have 2022.11 on my GPSMAP 67.

It's a shame Garmin so infrequently updates the TopoActive maps in Europe, previously they did two updates per year (which is also not really frequent), but last year they only released one update.

And of course there are many free OSM-based alternatives available, but I think Garmin can do better for the not so tech-savvy users!

Yup I had the update on Wednesday for both my 67 and 65s. Both updated. Doesn't seem that long ago that they updated them. But time flies.

Guess you're technically right about that

Just find it a bit disappointing that North America maps are updated more frequently than Europe maps, but maybe it's just more work for Garmin to update the Europe maps. While in the past Europe would also get updated twice a year.

Outdoor Maps+ makes much more sense for Garmin as a business model, I'm curious what that offering will bring in Europe!
