eTrex SE custom icons?

Selecting an icon in Etrxe SE makes it possible to use your own icons, there should be a CustomSymbols directory
in the device,where you can put your own icons.

In my device, routable route points are marked with "pins", often due to the large number of pins, the view
on the screen was not legible. I applied an icon that caused no pins to be displayed.

The Blue Flag icon is the icon used by default on the device, a modified icon with this name ( Flag, Blue.bmp) should be placed in the CustomSymbols directory.
You can create additional custom icons and add them to your device.

Your screen captures are not from an eTrex SE.

Readers would likely assume that since you are posting that custom waypoint symbols can be used in an eTrex SE forum that this is possible on this device.

Do you have an eTrex SE? Have you used custom waypoint symbols on that device?

Ok, when the post about waypoints appeared, I wrote about other possibilities.
I did not write that there will be a modification in Etrexe SE
To work, I wrote about the option "Selecting an icon in Etrxe SE allows you to use your own icons", if there is a CustomSymbols directory on the device. In new devices, it is worth checking solutions that work in other devices.

FYI - the eTrex SE does not support Custom Waypoint Symbols.

Previously, it worked so that when I had a file with waypoints and those waypoints had their own unique icons, for example of individual types of geocaches, these new icons were also displayed in the list of icons when you creating waypoints directly in GPS.
