GPSMAP 67 Firmware 4.70

GPSMAP 67 Firmware Update 4.70 released 27MAR23:
Changes made from version 4.40 to 4.70:
- Fixed issue with selecting position format in some languages.
- Fixed potential “Can’t Authenticate Maps” prompt.
- Fixed potential issue getting stuck or crashing while loading maps.
This update is being released in a "phased roll-out". Garmin have indicated a full change log may be published after they reach 100% release. Until such time, their wish is for everyone to operate completely in the dark.

Firmware 4.70 just showed up in Garmin Express for my GPSMAP 67. Unfortunately no changelog yet.

GPSrChive > GPSMAP 67 > Common Issues > Bug 2 (duplicate satellite signal bars) has not been fixed as I'm still seeing duplicate signal bars for Galileo and BeiBou.

Has the GPSMAP 67 Distance to destination or waypoint bug [ Bug 6 ] been fixed in firmware update 4.70?

Bug 5. The last word in some geocache names may be incorrectly displayed vertically on the GPSMAP 67 ----- NOT resolved at 4.70
Crash 1. Opening [Setup > Geocaching > Geocaching Live > Geocache Lists] always results in a device crash. ----- NOT resolved at 4.70
Have not tried Bug 6 yet.

RINEX logging has been restored in 4.70 and can be enabled via Setup > System > RINEX logging. RINEX logs are stored in GARMIN\RINEX.

Don't know where to find it online, but Garmin Express downloads the file. The extension has changed to GSP (from GCD), like they use on the newer smart watches. I have attached it to this post, but of course use at your own risk.

This file is not recognized by my software to be able to read personal JNXs. Like the one in Montana, so I will never buy it, otherwise I will have to buy back all the Garmin Topos maps that I have already paid for. It's too expensive. I keep the 66sr which has the same functions in fact, nothing more for me, for hiking.
