Do you have any examples of a GPSMAP 66sr with BeiDou?

I am pretty confident that was a label error.

We have yet to see any evidence the GPSMAP 66sr ever had BeiDou capability.

This is proof that the first series had Beidou:

Those images only prove that the label has an error.

We personally tested these devices for many months before they were released and they never had BeiDou capability.

Until someone can produce a legitimate photo or video of a GPSMAP 66sr displaying BeiDou satellites, we have never seen one use BeiDou!

As far as I know, you could determine if GPSMAP 66sr could theoretical receive Beidou signals, if you knew which chip is built in.

Further you can read here on a german website
    Spoiler

translated: "In the meantime, more information has reached us, which we have also already incorporated into the article. Garmin now also told us why Beidou is not yet included - this system would require significantly longer testing periods compared to the others, and so they have not yet integrated it for the time being"

We can conclude, that GPSMAP 66sr can also use Beidou and it should be possible to update it.

What I can say, a tester had a 66sr as soon as it was released in France, he talked about it on a French forum "Sorcière Monique" he did see that Beidou was well indicated on the label, but he didn't not say more.
It is possible that we can only configure 4 systems at the same time, which is what Garmin means. Until we know the characteristics of the GNSS chip, we will not know the number of systems integrated into the chip.

Is the chip of the 67 the same as that of the 66sr, if so it is possible with the software to parameterize 5 systems at the same time. It's just Garmin's choice.

No, the GPSMAP 67 is not using the same GPS chipset as the GPSMAP 66sr.
