Garmin published eTrex x2x (Gen 2) Firmware version 2.80 on February 16, 2023:

Changes made to version 2.80:

Fix issue with address search.

Fix auto-populate of track name when saving.

Hi.
What is gen 2?
for my eTrex 32x no updates available yet (nordic countries). but maybe it is gen 1.

The eTrex x2x series has been updated internally with new hardware, necessitating a new and unique firmware for the newer devices.

You can determine which version your eTrex x2x is by viewing the <PartNumber>006-B****-00</PartNumber> tag in the GarminDevice.xml text file found in the [eTrex x2x]:\Garmin\ directory.

Gen 1 HWID: 3445
