Outdoor Maps+: Check Subscription gives confusing text when not having any subscription

When I do use "Check Subscription" in new Outdoor Maps+, I get the following message: "All Outdoor Maps+ subscriptions are in use by other devices." This does not make any sense, as I don't have any subscription. I would expect to have some proper text, that I don't have any subscription. Firmware 14.80.

ConiKost, I believe you will be contacted by Garmin Customer Support about this issue very soon, if not already. Please follow up later and let us know if they get this resolved for you!

I cannot confirm that. While I had some answers from Garmin for some other support tickets, I didn't got any reply yet about my mail for asking about this here.

Garmin replied to my own ticket, that a "backend fix" has been applied. I am now getting a correct message, that I don't have any subscription.
